PUCET
Punjab University Common Entrance Test is an entrance with University level conducted by Punjab University. This entrance test offer admission to BHMS and B. Pharmacy and B.Sc Honors. This exam is the main entrance for different affiliated colleges in Punjab. Punjab University has 190 colleges within it.
How to apply for PUCET 2018
PUCET 2018 has invited interested and eligible candidates. Application form will be available on March 2018 and exam will be conducted on June 2018. Fill in the application form form BHMS or B.Pharma as required through the website www.puchd.ac.in. Application forms will not be accepted after the last date of submission. The last date of submission is in April 2018. Before filling the form, candidates should have scanned copies of their photograph, signature and thumb impression. After filling the form keep a printout of the Application safely.
Eligibility for PUCET 2018
Before applying for PUCET, candidates should read the eligibility criteria initially. Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria, any further mistakes can lead to rejection of the Application.
Candidates must be an Indian Citizen, no other citizens can apply for the Test.
Candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or candidates who are appearing for Final exams can also apply.
During 10+2, the subjects covered must be Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English.
Applicants must be above 17 years before applying.
For applying visit the Official website and click on the registration link provided. Fill the application form carefully and try to keep a copy for further reference. Note your registration number and Password.
PUCET 2018 Time table
Online application can be filled from 3rd week of March 2018.
Last date of submission of the application form will be 4th week of April 2018.
Applicants can download their Admit cards from 3rd week of May 2018.
For Under Graduates, exam will be conducted on 1st week of June 2018.
For Post Graduates, exam will be conducted on 2nd week of June 2018.
Results will be announced with in 3rd week of June.
Exam Pattern for PUCET 2018
The exams will conducted through OMR sheet in offline mode. For every correct answers 2 marks will be awards and also 1/4 marks will be reducted for each wrong answers. Exam duration will be 70 minutes. Medium of question paper will be English only.
There will be Six papers Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Biotechnology and Computer Science with 60 number of Questions for each paper and Maximum marks 120 respectively.
Fee structure
Examination fee can be paid through SBI challan. For General and OBC candidates examination fee if 1760 Rs and 880Rs for reserved candidates. Note that fee is not refundable on any basis.
Mathematics syllabus
The mathematic questions are most difficult in PUCET. Questions are sorted in the order moderate to difficult. So do as much as problems included in the syllabus. 60 questions must be covered with in 70 minutes.

Admit card for PUCET
The admit card will be available on the website in May 2018. The PUCET 2018 Admit card can be downloaded from the website. Without valid admit card, no candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall. Admit card will contain the name, Roll number, Date of the exam and examination venue.
PUCET results will be available via online mode within June 2018. There will be no call letter or score card will be sent to the candidates, so check official website regularly. There will be no re evaluation of the exam. Direct merit list will be published on the basis of performance in the entrance examination. Merit list will be prepared by the Punjab University and those who qualify in the entrance test are only be eligible for admission in the university.
Documents required at the time of admission for selected candidates include;
SSLC mark list to prove the date of birth of candidate, 12th mark list with a passing certificate, Caste certificate to prove category, Admit card of PUCET 2018 and PUCET score card downloaded from the website.
