(A vernier micrometer is used for measurement purposes. The metric micrometer looks similar like an ordinary micrometer. The difference between both are graduations on the sleeve and the barrel. There are two seperate lines on the sleeve of metric micrometer. The lower row contains millimeter graduations and the upper row represents one half millimeter. Thimble moves the spindle 0.5 mm on each complete turn. The vernier metric micrometer has an ability to measure about two thousands of a mm.)

 2. A chemical compound of carbon with iron is called ?
ans. Cementite
(Cementite is an intermetallic component of Iron and Carbon. Commonly called as Iron Carbide with formula Fe3C. It has an orthorhombic crystal structure with 6.67%Carbon and 93.3% Iron. Simply for your knowledge lets assume You have iron and Coke available as raw materials. Coke is obtained from Coking of Coal by carbonisation. Now heat them together in a furnace upto melting temperature. Approximately 1540 degree. For solidification we have to reduce its temperature from 1540-1200. We get a BCC structure called as delta ferrite. Again on cooling structure changes to FCC and we get Austenite 723 at degree( This temperature also called as austenitising temperature). On cooling down further austenite changes to pearlite (alpha ferrite+Cementite). 
Ferrite: Pure steel with less carbon
Cementite: Relatively harder which contains 6.67% Carbon
Pearlite: Which contains both ferrite and Cementite formed after Eutectoid reaction at 723 degrees.
Austenite: FCC Structure exists above 723 degree )

GRE 2018: Study Abroad

Graduate Record Examination is a standardised test conducted by Educational Testing Services.  The test scores in GRE are accepted by top graduate level schools for Masters degree. Master of Science  degree in US is a popular one. 

 Eligibility required for GRE
  • The ETS has put only mandatory required for GRE is a valid ID proof to prove your identity. An original valid passport is essential and no other alternate ID's are not accepted like Voters ID or a Driving Licence. 
  • There is no age limit set for GRE.

GRE Exam Time table

 Exam pattern for GRE
The GRE is a generalised test that isn’t related to any particular discipline or field. It has been designing to evaluate skills that you’ve already picked up over the years. This allows a wide range of universities to use it to benchmark applicants from diverse backgrounds applying to a big mix of degrees.
If you were to look at the overall GRE exam pattern, it has 3 sections: Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning.

This section tests you ability to analyse facts, dissect arguments, judge the presented evidence and put forth your views in the most convincing and structured manner. 

Verbal Reasoning


This section checks your capacity to understand the content author’s perspectives and intentions, prioritise the points made, and connect the dots across various ideas presented, even if they may not necessarily be documented in a coherent manner. This is the tricky section for non-native English speakers. 

Quantitative Reasoning


This is where you comfort level with numbers and quantitative data is tested. You’ll have to understand the problem and use models and mathematical formulas (from geometry, algebra, arithmentic) to solve them. The good news is that you will have access to a calculator. So no complex mental arithmetic to be done.

 1. Portrait Mode

 In photography or digital photography portrait mode is a function used in digital camera used when you want to click a picture of a single object. When taking photos in portrait mode, the camera will automatically uses a larger aperture to keep the background out of focus. This uses a narrow depth of field so the subject being photographed is the only thing in focus.
2. Video Stabilization

 This feature gives you clearer stabilized views rather than blurred vision in a video.  It's a way to cancel (as best as possible) your moves (vibrations) while you're recording a movie. 
It can be either electronic, the sensor being a little bigger than the movie frames ("pictures"), 
or mechanical, by moving the sensor, one lens or a mirror in the opposite direction than the detected move. If done well, if can provide much better pictures, especially when zooming (while recording), if of low quality it can blur everything you tape. 3. Google Photos Assistant 

Assistant can create photo albums, make GIF animations, create great movies, and group (or juxtapose) photos in collages. You’ll now receive cards and notifications informing you when the assistant has made something new for you. When your smartphone is full of photos, it can be difficult to find what you’re looking for. The sensible option, therefore, is to group them into albums. Every photo on my Android device — and therefore, on my Google drive — has been grouped into an album by the assistant. Using the date and the location the photos were snapped  albums are automatically created by the assistant while you sleep. If you want to take control from the assistant, simply tap the Assistant button in the lower-left corner of the app, then Album (you can also use the top-right menu). In the Create album screen, tap the images you wish to include, then Create. Wait for the album to be created, assign a name, and wait for it to be saved. Here, you can even add text, add photos, rearrange the photo order (long-tap and drag, or use the sorting button) and even set the location. Tap the check button when you’re done.

4. Google Lens
Google Lens is a unique feature for Google Pixel 2 XL. For the moment, Google is only talking about a "preview" of lens shipping on Pixel 2 phones. But as a part of Google Assistant, Google Lens has the potential to reach every Android phone or tablet on Marshmallow  and up, letting these devices recognize objects, landmarks and other details visually (with a little help from your location data) and conjure up actionable information about them. For example, you might be able to identify a certain flower visually, then bring up info on it from Google's knowledge graph. Or it could scan a restaurant in the real world, and bring up reviews and photos from Google Maps. Or it could identify a phone number o a flier, or an SSID and password on the back of a Wi-Fi router.



Whether it's through a camera interface in Google Assistant, or after the fact through Google Photos, the strength of Lens — if it works as advertised — will be the accurate identification and the ability to provide useful info based on that. It's absolutely natural, then, that Lens should come baked into the camera app (and Photos itself) on the new Google Pixel 2 XL smartphone.

 Have your ever noticed some commercial ads when you once click on one product on Flipkart or Amazon similar kinds of many products will be visible to your facebook page. This is due to inter connectivity between different websites. Google tracks your every move on Internet. Google earns money by doing so. Google's revenue is based on advertising. Tracking a users movement will give an idea about the interests of the user.
On the Internet allowing yourself to be tracked will not harm you. No one will be forcing you to click definitely on an ad or the right to show that ad is with in the user's hand.
But there are some malicious tracking which is dangerous as a cyber criminal tracking your moves. It can be easily done using a malware that is installed on your Computer or any other devices connected to Internet. There are some malwares which can get in to your Webcams or Recorders yo access your private information.

  • When you open windows you can see a start button type 'cmd' here to open your command box.
  • Here you can see a black box with white text 'C:\users\username
  • On the next prompt click ' netstat' and press Enter key to generate details of your outgoing data transmissions. This will give you an idea about IP addresses that your computer is sending information to.
  • Copy each of those IP addresses and paste it on a web browser
  • Locate where the information is being send

  • Close all other programmes except one web browser you are using
  • Select 'Processes' tab and select your username and check all the processes running on your computer.

                                   If you find out these unnatural processes on your computer immediately SignOut from all the social media accounts you are logged in. You are easy to track down if you are logged in to social media. Because you are allowing social media to know whatever you do on Internet. If you are simply ignoring such things you are allowing your personal information to be misused by a third party.  You can also use a special software that block tracking.
Incognito mode will not help, it will not completely stop showing ads. A browser add on like Hot-spot shield hides your IP address. With your IP address website could get to know your country or your registration details on the site.

 Be cautious for those illegal trackers.

Share Live Location On Whatsapp

New feature on WhatsApp share Live Location
The new whatsapp feature got unveiled on Android 8 with whatsapp version 2.17.351. The feature is to share your live location on whatsapp for your contact. Whatsapp has already current location sharing feature that everybody knows about. But this can be done one-time,  and the receiver cant track the sender if they move. This feature is end to end encrypted allows you to control who you share your location and how long. There is a live location timer which you can choose time period as much as you need to share your location. Within this period your live location wherever you move will be available for the recipient. While sharing the location, other users in the group will be able to see the rest of the members below the map who have shared their live location. Multiple users can share their location at once.  That feature is worth mentioning.

 The feature can can be simply accessed inside the application.

  • Open your WhatsApp Application either Android or iOS
  • Open the persons chat screen you want to share Live Location with
  • On below text screen click on the attachment 📎 button
  • Tap on the Location feature from options
  • There you can find a map and below that you can see Live Location share option
  • You can setup time frame period which others in Individual chats and groups can track you (15mins, 1hr,  8hrs)

So we will have to search for that topic again and reach there. But that's not necessary, you can simply recover the tabs within Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
